Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for three years. Lennox survived off the stipend of a student working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her career path following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in contrast to other Royal Academy students. Lennox played the flute in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to release her first solo album Diva. The album came out in 1992. It was a huge success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was launched in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. She released her first solo album in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some recognition in the 1970s. Then, she became a part of the band with her fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her first album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, which was released in 1995, features songs that are re-imagined from her biggest hits, such as The No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has recorded six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album.
